Challenge

A watch brand launched a smartwatch and needed a companion app to unlock its full potential.

Users expected seamless pairing, rich health data and easy customisation:

Unreliable pairing and sync.
Limited health and activity insights.
Complex watch settings.
High user expectations for a premium brand.

The brand wanted an app that matched the quality of its watches.

Solution

Winklix designed and developed native companion apps for iOS and Android.

Seamless pairing

Reliable Bluetooth pairing and background sync.

Health insights

Activity, sleep and heart-rate data are presented in clear, motivating visuals.

Personalisation

Users customise watch faces, notifications and settings from the app.

Platform integration

Data syncs with Apple Health and Google Fit.

The Approach

Discovery and planning — We started by understanding business goals, users, constraints and existing systems.
Agile delivery — The solution was built in short sprints with working releases and regular stakeholder demos.
Quality built in — Automated testing, code reviews and security checks were part of every release.
Long-term partnership — After launch, Winklix supported the client with monitoring, enhancements and continuous improvement.

Outcome

The engagement delivered clear, practical results for the client:

An enhanced, premium smartwatch experience.
Reliable sync between watch and phone.
Meaningful health insights for users.
Positive app store feedback.
